I currently own a 2017 Cougar AE SP. This boat came with power pole blades mounted by the factory. I was a package boat. Long story short, the drivers side power pole reservoir cap and neck broke off the reservoir and of course it drained to a very low level. I don't know how the cap broke off, I will check when I re-install the pump with a new one. Yes you can get a kit to put on a new reservoir, but nobody in the Missouri/Arkansas area has that kit. I checked from as far north as outside Kansas City MO to as far south as below Mountain Home. Be prepared for the mess if you have to deal with this issue. I also will check the front of the fuel tank to make sure that it has not been damaged since that is the only thing in the area where this pump is. FYI, my pump has bolts via the compartment in front of it that attach to the pump. I took a couple of longer bolts, same threads and cut off the heads to use them as dowels when I put the assembly back in place. I will fill it with fluid prior to shoving it back in the hole since I don't have the clearance I believe to get a hose into the opening where the cap is. It is behind the fuel tank and up against the wall and not exposed as the other side it.

Basscat I called power pole and bought a reservoir from them. Matter of fact I bought another as a back up. Installed the unit back in the boat and the tank was up against the gas tank. I talked to Daylon in parts who got in touch with one of the personnel in rigging who told me to get some spacers behind the pump so it would pivot the pump away from the gas tank. Process was slow at best glued washers to back of pump 2 on one aNd 3 on the other nut hole. Now there might be enough clearance to fit a 5 mm feeler gauge in between. Next time it comes out I will attempt to add more spacers to the one side to swing that opening over more. Much thanks to your people who got me on the right track with the spacers/washers.
