23 bobcat location for in hull transducer

Looking to put a in- hull transducer in and was needing a place with the smoothest water. I'm thinking in front of and in line with the drain plug. that area on the underside is the concave area of the pad. Is this going to be the best place for smooth water(no bubbles as you are running on pad.) Thanks for any information, Lyle

There is a rear area, 6” in front of the drain tube, that is direct through the glass for transducers. You will see the 1/2” step down when you look.
