Smartcraft gage

The lcd on my smartcraft gages are very hard to read on my o6 Puma.Was thinking about getting Merc vessel view to display on my Lowrance graph instead of replacing the gages, anybody do this conversion? What was all needed?

vessel view is a pain in the butt.  You have to reconnect the app every time you turn the ignition off and on .  And it does not give you water pressure without some additional parts.  You can buy mine cheap . Just my opinion though,  others may like it.  my old boat had the gauges small yes but….

Vessel view is junk. I had it on my Eyra. It would disconnect while running. I switched to smartcraft gauges. Much more reliable. FYI you have to buy a $90 pressure sending unit to get a digital water pressure reading.

I only have a water pressure gage seperate from the smartcraft, but my fuel and water temp can only be read by smartcraft gage which is almost impossible at this point.

There is a company that replaces the lenses on SmartCraft gauges when they fog up. The present (estimated as post 2014) external lenses are glass, while MercMornitor gauges are acrylic and do fog. Internal lenses can fog also as both gauges have dual lenses. 2006 are acrylic and do fog.
