Bobcat set up’s and performance you are seeing

Good afternoon everyone!

I have a 23 bobcat with the mercury 150 pro xs. I have a 22 pitch power tech 3 blade with the jack plate flush. 50 hours on the engine , when I fill my live wells up and have two people with light tournament load I’m only getting 47mph @5900 rpm.

I’ve tried 24 pitch tempest no good

21 pitch tempest no good

23 tempest no good

23 fury ok but not great

I’ve also ran the J.P. up and down with little change.

I put a call into basscat for help and am waiting for the return call.

 

whats everyone else seeing ?

Don’t know anything about Powertech props, but 47mph@5900 with 22” prop is 20% slip so something isn’t right. When you say the Tempest’s were no good, what exactly do you mean?
