Bow panel Motor tilt not working

21 Eyra I've noticed that my bow trim for the motor doesn't work at all. Up or down. Also notice that the running light switch is not functional, although it lights up when I turn the running lights on at the console. Related or not? It doesn't seem likely. Trim works at the throttle and the turn signal levers and the engine Where does the wiring go from the bow switch? Straight to the engine, of through the drivers console? I had the trim and jackplate turn signal levers swapped left to right not long ago by the local shop. I always say, the first rule in trouble shooting is to start looking where you last had your fingers. Is there a connector, or am I looking for bare wires? If it doesn't go through the console, where does it connect with the other trim wires? Thanks

I have a 2o2o Caracal and thought I had a problem with front trim switch too. Turned out that horizontal rocker switch beside trolling motor well turns power on/off to switch. I won’t tell how much time I chased gremlins looking for the problem….. May not be your problem but only take a moment to check. Good luck.

Dang!! That was it!!!!I always wondered what that switch was for!! Thanks. You saved me hours of chasing wires and frustration.

Excellent. I spent a couple hours pulling cub holder, moving trolling motor pedal to get to panel (You can’t access switches from there, only via cup holder and even then it’s very difficult). And then I tried the rocker switch and felt like an idiot though I proposed the question to BCB before that asking what that rocker switch for and was lead to believe it’s there but not hooked to anything. But it’s available to run electronics etc. through if anyone wanted to. Anyway, glad I could help. I’m sure we aren’t the first two to run into this…..
