Just purchased a Caracal SP with a Yamaha 225, never had a hydraulic Jack plate before. My old Cat had a manual plate. This is an Atlas Plate. Any tips on what height for hole shot and running.
Just purchased a Caracal SP with a Yamaha 225, never had a hydraulic Jack plate before. My old Cat had a manual plate. This is an Atlas Plate. Any tips on what height for hole shot and running.
Raise it for hole shot, lower it to run and usually the suggested height for operation is about 3 to 4 on that model. Different engines change that and every rig is quite different.
