I have not run a Lynx w/ a 300. I have run a Puma STS w/ a 300 Pro XS and it was a few mph faster. Top end speed was about 80 but the boat was empty with no tackle and very little fuel. I was doing a check out for a friend prior to delivery as it was brand new! Engines usually reach full potential about 10-20 hours. In addition, this was in the Texas heat as well during the month of September. Hope this helps you somewhat.
