Topic: 03 Cougar Prop question…

i have a 03 cougar FTD with 225 opti. currently turing a 25 tropy. my spare prop is missing some how, some where??? Dont ask because i dont know how a 25 P trophy disappears! Anyway, would i see any gains if i went to a Fury, and if i did what size and would i have to make any jack plate adjustments? My jackplate hasnt moved since it left the factory after it was built...

currently my top end runs 69-72 with about 1/2 full gas & livewells with a few green heads. Some days its 71-72 all day, some days its 69 at best. add a partner and his stuff i go 68-70. hole shot is just fine.

What RPMs are you running WOT? Post this on the main forum and youll get better advice than I can give. BCB suggests running the jp lower for more lift. Every prop/set up is different and my yamaha likes to run a bit higher. Play with it!
