I had a great experience with Gabe at 101 Prop Service. One Saturday I had the misfortune on damaging my prop and was faced with the possibility of trailering the boat and going home, or having the prop repaired/replaced. I took it to Gabe and to my surprise he said that he could fix it, and it would take about 45 min. Upon my return, I found Gabe had been swamped, but rather than have me wait further, he loaned me a stainless steel prop to get me back on the lake while he continued to repair my aluminum prop. I used his prop all weekend and had a great time rather than go home with no time on the lake. I believe that Gabe went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my having a great weekend. I can honestly say this act of kindness impressed me and I think the world should know of it.
Gabe,I appreciate your posting this. I understand your difficulty in finding and keeping good help. Unless you try to do everything yourself, which is not realistic, then you are only as good (and reputable) as your worst employee…Gary Hollander
Never stop learning that is for sure. My 100 days of work in a roll with a minimum of 10 hours a day has taken its toll. Thanks for the words of encouragement!!!!!!!!
