Topic: 13 PII loose driver seat

13 PII loose driver seat

Driver seat is loose and moves about when getting in and out from drivers seat. After brief examination, I see no visible fasteners that may be loose. Pulled cover off from under carpeted step, thinking there may be access, but was mistaken. Any suggestions on how to tighten the fasteners holding the seat in place? Thanks for the help.

You can lift the bottom seat cushion up and there should be two screws that bolt directly to the seat basin. That is unless they have changed mounts since 09.

After crawling around a little, saw the hinge barrels at the front of the seat. Self explanatory from there. Thanks.

be careful not to over tighten. use only a hand driver or else you will break the zerk from the glass

If you have a BCB dealership in your area we would let them deal with it on warranty.

I had the same problem but the anchors pulled out. Sherms is two and a half hours away and I work allot. So I just fixed it myself, put new anchors in and just not over tighten them and check them every so often. Havent had a problem since.

Mounting styles are different on different year models. There have been extremely few issues on newer models. It was more common going back progressively in years.
