Need help,i have 3- blade tempest plus 23 pitch,and it takes 5to 6 seconds to get on plane. I run in shallow water and id like to see if i could get at least 3 seconds to get on plane. Great top end speed , want to switch to 4-blade 24 or 25 pitch Power tech prop to help out holeshot. At about 6400 rpms ,speed is about 69mph.I tried a 25 pitch predator 3- blade hole shot was worse it wanted to blow out right before plane, would have to back off of hot foot till planes out berfore getting up to 5800 rpms at about 66mph on gps. would like recommendations on jackplate height if i need to adjust it also with changing to 4- blade prop. The rpms&trial runs are with a tournament load.
