Also the best I can tell, this pump has two lines going into the livewell. One up top to the spray bars and one to the bottom of the livewell if that makes any sense with one live from the hull to the pump

We didn’t pull the tank to service those. We worked under the tank and managed it in about 30 minutes.

If that’s possible that’s great but my mechanic looked at it and said the tank will have to come up. I called BassCat parts and talked to a guy and he said unfortunately the tank will have to come up. Where the pump is mounted you can’t physically get the cartridge out without undoing the bracket

We slide the nut off the pump and slip the hoses off by going through the fuel tank areas. It’s not easy and most in the parts department have never done it. Many won’t try it though you will save time the if you can manage it with a good ratchet.

I had to do this once on my 2000 Sabre. I tried to do it the way Basscat reccomends but had little success. I finally pulled out all the batteries and trays along with oil resevoir. Then I took the fuel tank loose and slid it backwards. Its easier if you run most of the gas out first. I ended up replacing everything while I was under there. Bilge pump, aerator pump and livewell valve. Then just put everything back being sure to put silicone anywhere you screw something down. Hope this helps. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
