The box behind the driver seat where a store tackle stays wet after I wash the boat for along time. When I open the box there is still moisture in the box and it’s seems like it’s holding on the foam under the lid. I opened it up to dry out for a couple days close it back up and then checked it a few weeks later still moisture. I thought by now it would be completely dry from just sitting under cover. Kinda of head scratcher.
Mike is correct. My PIV got water into that box if the livewell overflowed. At the time I had fish on small floats that would sometimes block the overflow and with Aerator running. I solved it by going into the dry box and putting silicone seal to stop the water intrusion from the livewell.
I had water getting into my p4 compartments, I tightened down the latches really tight and that cured the problem. On a 2004 the bubble trim may be compressed. Bass Cat sells replacement bubble trim if tightening the latch does not work.
Figured it out. The drain was plugged uses compressed air and flushed with hose. All is good now LOL! Water was just sitting on top and moisture kept the carpet wet.
