Bass Cat,No, this was purchased new from Mossdale boats this way, always worked ok until now. I am the original owner. Tech said he checked the sending unit by attaching a new gauge to it and it worked fine. Both types were installed in dash by Bass Cat (or the dealer selling it new?). Im not sure what type/size of gauge the tech used but the problem for me is fitting the pre-drilled holes of the older units (either). Tech didnt try to sell me new gauges, just advised me that it was not the sending unit. Also have an analog (dial type) water pressure gauge below the Smartcraft gauges also installed by you (or dealer). When I bought the boat (already on the lot) I paid for the Smartcraft upgrade and not sure if they added them later or they were already in the dash (come on, that was ten years ago and Im old now! I was old then). Either way, I need a replacement for one or the other (or both) seeing as all the gauges have always worked the same (water pressure and Tilt/trim) and everything else on the Smartcraft seems fine. Would need direct replacements for the size of the holes and would like to know how hard of a change out. All the gauges are surrounded by red bezels. Thats a Bass Cat thing. I could take a picture of the dash and attach it here but Im not sure how to add a picture.I could try a replacement sending unit, the tech told me its a $90 part (cheap) but the install may not be so easy, he was going to do it free because he was replacing the tilt/trim unit anyway. Not sure this would be a home project for a non-mechanical person? Boat 2006 PIV hull #BASN2955L506Also, asking about the A-10 touch pad, sounds like replacement availability is in question? Mine has most lights out but does function fine. Any suggestions
