It is actually larger across the deck than your 93 P2, though it is deceiving. The Silhouette Package is the stripes on the deck, trim stripes and lower hull stripe outline. It has been handed down from a time when all that was optional. Today it is standard on most packages. BCB

More info please. It has a dual console. Any problems with taking it in and out as needed? Also what is the biggest unit that can be installed in dash, and do you just cut out the opening? And would a unit with internal gps work okay when mounted in dash. Thanks Scott Aikens

Scott, A 2006 model is restricted in the dash size to control costs. The increased cost of a $1500 graph on a $25,000 new boat is something we try to regulate. Of course you can go RAM mount if you prefer. The decks on a 2006 are through bolted, thus more difficult to remove, though you can remove them. The older models had straps that secured them and could be easily removed, though few ever took them in and out. BCB

I heard that Mercury head man that was do the fury props quit and the new ones are not as good and do not perform like the first ones

This is inaccurate. The molds are done and the propellers are cast from tooling made in pieces from the masters. We still hold a couple of those original propellers which could be reproduced if need be. The process is complex once they have a tool. Have is a brief rundown 1. There is a multi part tool that assembles to build a cavity for a wax molded propeller. The wax is proprietary in consistency. 2. There is a mold of a wax propeller made from that tool. The tool opens to expose the wax prop. 3. A sprue is place on the rear barrel of the propeller. 4. The propeller is dipped and a casting is made of porcelain and dried around the wax propeller, leaving the sprue open. 5. The complete part has molten stainless poured in by hand to the sprue area, and the wax is cooked out of the porcelain by the molten SS. 6. They are benched to cool, and the porcelain becomes brittle once cooling takes place. 7. The propeller is now molded exact and the porcelain is removed by chipping. 8. The propeller is cut at the barrel, the blades are cleaned by hand by one of several individuals. Pitch is verified here on pitch blocks. 9. The propeller is spin polished in a media tub of plastic media repetitively in a large cage. 10. The propellers are removed from media and final ground for packaging. There is very little hand assembly and once the design is confirmed, then there is little to vary or loose. BCB

Sheet on the boat is 1175 on the hull. Pretty sure thats before batteries & trolling motor – so add approx. 200#. Motors another 430#. Trailer – dont have a clue.
