Smart Craft Gauges should have a part ending in with the last three numbers on A26 or A27 on Tach & Speedo. This is located on the rear or side or the gauges themselves.
These are the only that will work properly on a Smart Craft systems.
The A23 and A24 will not work on 2007 engines.
Run all boats except Cougar FTD series as a percentage on the fuel tanks. Which is the Default setting.
The pre 07 engines should be fine with the A23 and A24 parts numbers, unless it is a late model after the conversion.
Mercury made this change without informing all of the part change required. Any Mercury Dealer can handle this transfer of parts.
