2008 puma

i purchased a 2008 puma ftd and it has a 250 evinrude ho engine with a three blade fury 25 p prop on it and it has a hydraulic jack plate. the problem i have is when fully loaded the hole shot is not great and I’m wondering if this is the best prop for my boat and engine. I’m going to try prop plugs to see if that helps. please advise

Probably a better option, like the 25 Raker II

I had a 14 Cougar with a 225ho I bought used that came with a 25 Fury that didn’t perform well. After talking to a prop guy in Alabama I bought a 26 Raker2 and traded for a 27 tempest plus, both of those worked well with my boat. He said the Fury was a good prop but not for Evinrudes.
