Ladies and Gentlemen: This is the tentative 2008 Quest Program as it has been tweaked for the new season. There have been considerable changes and future changes are possible as we prepare for printing. We are still in the process of finalizing details, though most of this should be as presented here. Please see the final Internet Site for Quest for those authorized regulations and requirements once the promotion is finalized. Most of these are the same as the previous Quest program. The Co Angler section had been already included last season. Thank You, BCB A. Tournaments must be open to participation by any qualified angler. Specialty events may qualify if open to equal participation, and is open to all Bass Cat Owners.B. Tournaments must have a written structure and rules for each event. Starting and completion times must be regulated. The format must be organized and accepted as a common tournament structure. Revolutionary formats are open to acceptance by the Program Administrators. Further restrictions may be posted “on line” at http://www.basscat.com as they are deemed necessary, and will be considered regulations for compliance in the Program Immediately.C. Tournament acceptance is not extended to future events, nor grand-fathered into sanctioning. Events are only approved Following the listing, 30 days prior to competition.. There are two levels of Quest for 2008. The Double up, and the standard Quest program, for Quest events with 50 participants or 25 Boats in team/draw competitions there will be a $250.00 incentive. Tournaments with 50 Boats in team/draw competitions and/or 100 anglers can accrue $500.00 for each tournament win under guidelines established below. Events with over 100 Boats and/or 200 anglers can achieve $1,000.00 in incentive monies. Each Owner may qualify for up to $2,000.00 or two major wins, in annual Quest incentives when participating in local and regional events, including the Double UP limit. Each Individual is qualified for two Double UP wins.Double Up events are required to have 100 boater participants, or 200 total anglers. Each BCB Quest member is then eligible for a total of $2,000 for each Double UP win, to a Maximum of Two wins. Double UP sanctioned events with less than 100 boats are then standard Quest functions, Toughman minimum waived.There are no Owner Sanctions available for Double UP events. There are dealer requests for consideration, Double Ups are limited by other restrictions. See Section M. for Mercury 250 Pro XS promotion from Bass Cat Boats. Which is a total of from $4,000 to $5,000 for a Double UP win.National events waive maximum, no two programs will apply jointly. For Example: BASS Tour, Elites, and Federation formats, or other similar programs Proof of present ownership, a copy of state boat registration, may be requested and is required at that time.1. Quest Non-Boaters, Co-Anglers, competing in Pro/Am style formats as co-anglers may also qualify for $500 in Quest sanctioned tournaments with over 125 boats, or $250 with less than 125 boats to 75 boats. No incentives exist below 75 boats for Co-Anglers. All of the same rules and guidelines apply.E. This Bass Cat Tournament Incentive Program will require each angler receiving bonus monies to:1. Be registered in the Quest Program, and/or own a new boat under full warranty, and follow all other guide lines in these (#R) formats. The Tournament must be won in a Bass Cat Boat. Un-owned new products do not qualify, as all units must be registered by both the state and Bass Cat. 2. Owner Operator of the Bass Cat Boat must be wearing either, a Bass Cat Hat, Coat, or Shirt. No exceptions and proof of clothing will be required. An actual Weigh In photo will suffice, pending logos are apparent and noticeable. (Note: Promotional Persons See #J Also) 3. Ownership must be on file at Bass Cat as the valid owner of the boat. Joint ownership will be validated by state registration and the boat must be registered to the individual(s). Lifetime registration of transferred units will be required prior to Tournament. Failure to transfer warranty on Lifetime units, may dissolve said Lifetime Warranty.F. Tournament Circuits are sanctioned based on the number of events, and units, in a given area, dealer or region. Dealers can sanction at least 6 events per dealer, and they must be approved by the program administrators.G. Individual owners may request sanctioning of one event in a dealership radius of 100 miles, or, if distanced from a dealership by at least a 100 mile radius, one circuit (or portion thereof). Membership is not required prior to Sanctioning, though is required to participate.H.Individual fish tournaments do not qualify for sanctions, nor do any single fish (Big Bass) events qualify.I. Bass Cat title events or Bass Cat Dealer specific events (including various charity events) do not qualify for Sanctions or Incentives as those are already supported with product by Bass Cat Boats. Examples: Regional & National Championships of Anglers Choice, ABC and Cystic Fibrosis.J. Each Bass Cat promotion boat/angler can Participate in Quest. Members of the Bass Cat Promotional Staff must be wearing full attire (hat, shirt, and lifejacket) for incentives and membership under Quest.K. Bass Cat reserves the right to regulate this program as desired. It will require all participants to complete proper IRS forms for legally required reporting of income. (Form 1099 MISC). The future of said program is not guaranteed, and is solely based on funding available and participation.L. Forms must have correct address and must be submitted complete, postmarked no less than 30 days following event closure with proper records for verification of incentives, and necessary signatures and proof. Failure to provide proof of clothing, participation and final placement as winning individual or team, shall be reason for refusal of awards. Individuals understand that compliance with Quest guidelines is solely their responsibility and in no way the responsibility of either the dealership or Bass Cat Boats.Please allow 45 to 60 days for the processing of claims and verification of authenticity that program guidelines have been met.M. 2008 Mercury 250 Pro XS Double Up promotion. All 250 Pro XS Engines on Bass Cat Boats are qualified for a total of $5,000 in incentives for events over 125 boats, including the Double . If the event has over 100 boats and less than 125, then the incentive will be $4,000, or double the Double Up Quest Incentive. Verification of Ownership and Warranty Registration will be required.It is our understanding that these 250 Pro XS engines will still qualify for the individual Mercury Marine and MotorGuide incentives totaling an additional $1,000 and $500 ($1,500 Total) in some events.N. Completion of submitted Quest claim forms, and/or request for incentive payments, are considered as approval of and permission for use of any likeness and photos in promotional opportunities.O. Bass Cat reserves the right to regulate, alter, or discontinue this program at any time. No offer of future programs is guaranteed in any form. For Example: Promotion offerings for the 250 Pro XS are not intended to extend past October of 2008.P. Issues involving outside delivery service and loss of packages, or handling and stamping are not the responsibility of Bass Cat Boats. Participants are fully responsible for compliance with all program guidelines. Postage, or delivery failure will/may require re-issuance by the governing tournament officials. Copies of all forms should be kept for re-submittal, in such cases.Q. It is the Quest of Bass Cat Boats that this program be accepted for many events in the coming seasons. Acceptance is not required by the individual events, and may run without the approval of the tournament officials. Issues in paragraph “P” will require approval or cooperation, under certain circumstances.R. Registration: There is no cost to owners of all 2000 model year product and later, which has a the Lifetime Warranty status and/or is transferred as of November 1, 2004 The fee to transfer Lifetime Warranty is $100.00, plus any dealership fees that may apply for 2000 and later models, and includes membership in Quest. There is a $100 Quest Membership Fee on all used boats, 1999 or older. This is specifically attached to the owner and that particular Bass Cat boat serial number. Membership in Quest and or transfer of Lifetime Warranty is open to all Bass Cat Owners, no matter age of product. Transfer of Lifetime Warranty automatically qualifies the owner for Quest Membership. Units purchased used from inventorying, good standing Bass Cat dealerships, will be registered by dealership and Bass Cat, at no charge. *S. It is further understood that Bass Cat Boats reserves the right to change, alter, add, or eliminate any or any part of these guidelines at any time in any given season. No intent is expressed to continue these programs past the 2008 season. This program will be adjusted occasionally. Those alterations will be posted on line for access to the most up to date regulations. This is an on line based promotion, and electronic alterations supersede all printed materials.T. Tournaments under automatic Quest sanction as of this printing in 2008 are: Anglers Choice Teams and Couples, BASS Outdoors Series, Media Bass, 100% BASS, BassMaxx, Team Trails of Mississippi, Heartland Series (AR, MO, OK), C.A.B.A. Outdoors, BFL events, Internet (IBBT, BFHP & BBC) Rallys designated on website, and B.A.S.S. State Federation Championships, ALL other Tournaments must be sanctioned and events are subject to change. Complete listings will be updated on the Bass Cat Quest board.Quest Double UP sanctioned events, requires 100 boats, for 2008 are BASS Opens, Bass Champs, ABA Fishing Tour National Championship, ABA Grand Slam Series, Oklahoma Triton Series (Nichols), BASS Weekend Outdoors Series, Central Pro Am, WON Bass Pro Am Divisions (West Coast) and Belton Boat Show Toughman Tournament. BASS Elites, FLW and Stren events run under their own separate programs and details are available to those competitors who are Participating in those specific events, as Professionals and Semi Professionals.U.
