They need rain desperately in Texas and the lakes are at historic lows in many areas. In others they are low, though not unusable. The small lake shown by TPW is a plains reservoir is a desert situation, whereas Travis goes from low to brim high, to low these past seven years or so. No doubt Texas needs fall showers, though it needs a monsoon season. The flat lands and sand in TX require more rain than a mountain reservoir as two inches on Norfork and it rises two to three feet. Two inches at Sam Rayburn and your lucky to get a Four to Six inch rise.
