Ideal for mine seems to be 1/4″ above flush on the plate. I have run it at 1/2″ above and it handled a little better, but lost almost 2mph and a considerable amount of lift with a load. I typically run lighter than more than the average 20 rig. I have a 225 ProXs, seeing 75.5-76 @5900 in the summer and about 78-78.5 @6000 in the winter months. All with a 26P Fury w/ extra holes drilled. The trim angle varies very slightly depending on the load, but typically, its below the 1/4 mark on the gauge.
