Hello BCB family. I rarely post here but love to monitor the forum on a daily basis. I recently had a great experience and need to share. After attending the OI on Sam Rayburn my mouth was watering for the Eyra. At the time, I had a 2009 Puma FTD that I loved but that Eyra was eating at me. Fast forward to April 2013, I call Tommy Yetts at Rockwall Marine, Rockwall Texas which is my nearest dealer (3hrs away I am a retired Veteran , FT Hood, TX). I had originally met Tommy at the 1st Texas Basscat Owners Event on Cedar creek, Texas in November 2009 and concluded that my next BCB would be purchased from him due to his can do attitude and patience (especially now after dealing with me). Tommy and his crew (to include a fantastic family base) were absolutely fantastic with straight forward honesty. If you ever need to purchase a boat, need service, or advice call Rockwall Marine for a no nonsense transaction. In closing I would also like to thank Rick Pierce for calling me every time I left a message (very few boat Manufacturers would do this) you Sir, are a true professional .Thank you,Gerald Barker

Have you run it with that prop yet? I have a 28P on my Cougar/Pro XS and I like it, although I had to block two of the PVS holes to allow it to bite.Steve

Where did you get that motor cover? Can you run with the cover on or is it not vented? That is awesome!

Thank you for the positive replies.Sparker- I am still in break in but, tried the 28 Bravo 1 XS that Croxton worked and added 4 more PVS holes for my last boat a 2009 Puma FTD Pro XS 250 and was hitting 82 mph. On this Eyra It blows out on launch, called Croxton and he said the new silver lower units are running higher so I am sending it back to Mark for a tune up. The Bravo 1 XS is a beast on the right setup. I think this Eyra has much potential, more to follow…Basscatman- the cover is indeed a vented cover made to run. I had it custom made by Tuffskinz out of Dallas. It was $220 and took 5 days to my door. Go to http://www.tuffskinz.comGerald
