If you want the last bit of mph out of the Sabre, youre going to have to drive it once it starts chine walking. You can mess with the height until you either gain rpm with no increase in speed, or start losing water pressure…that is IF it is trimmed out properly with no rooster tail higher than the engine cowling. Just a slight bit of torque on the wheel at full speed and trim. If its running 68mph before starting to chine, itll run faster when you learn to balance the boat on the pad to keep the chine from ever happening. The Sabre is a hot rod. It also runs differently depending on how you load it. Keep the light stuff (as much as possible) in the rear front deck compartment (like hard baits), life jackets, ropes and other light stuff in the most forward front deck compartment. With the rod holders, you can get about 15 rods in the port side rod locker, if you put some of them on the bottom with the tips run under the front rod tubes. I use rod sleeves for all my rods as it helps getting them in and out without hanging up.
