I am having issues with my 2017 Trailer when backing up. The brakes were locking up when the truck was in reverse on my way to lake yesterday. Came home and started troubleshooting. Found the backup fuse for the reverse circuit on my truck was popped. Trying to figure out why the fuse blew to begin with, so started checking the trailer. With truck fuse fixed I have voltage at trailer plug and relay is working as it should.
Question – With a volt meter I have continuity from the Frame/ground to the “reverse” circuit or the the blue wire, is this normal with trailer disconnected? Or is the what shorted the fuse out?
I see no evidence of the wire being chaffed or rubbed.
