I have a 2023 Eyra with a 300 Pro X/S, Bob’s hydraulic plate running a 25p Fury with three lithium batteries and a cranking battery. 20 rods and tackle. The best speed I’ve seen was 80.6 with no tackle and 60 degree temps. It’s basically a 78mph boat…..anyone else have the same setup and what kind of speeds are you seeing and what prop are you running? I just feel like it should be faster than it is.
2022 eyra, 300 pro xs with a 3 blade 25 fury, atlas hydraulic jack plate, 2 10 ft power poles, 4 lithium batteries, 1 AGM cranking battery, live well full, tournament loaded with 2 heavier guys one at 245 pounds and the other around 225 pounds I am getting around 74 mph top speed. Pretty good hole shot. When I’m by myself and lightly loaded I can run her up to around 73 mph and the chine walk becomes ridiculous where I end up trimming down and maintaining a comfortable speed of 71 mph.
I have a 2017 Eyra. Honestly I have never learned how to drive it properly. I have read several articles on chine and I just can’t get the hang of it. But that is OK, I can do 65 no problem and that is fast enough for me.
I have a 21 Eyra with a 250 pro xs, 22 rods and a ton of tackle, 4 agm batteries and still run 77-79 with 2 people with a 24 Fury, 78-81 with a 25 tempest plus. I don’t have power poles and that’s with live well empty. This is my 3rd Basscat, they don’t like a lot of trim, 5-6 on atlas hydraulic Jack plate gauge seems to be the best overall setup for me.

Have you tried a different prop? Should easily be a low 80’s boat and most should be mid 80s with a decent set up.

What rpms are you turning? I’m calculating a 25 Fury to be on the 6200 rpm limiter at 80mph.
