Topic: 21 Classic Power Pole Pump Location Options

I believe i have a few options but was looking at the following locations see pics and red ❌ - are these all ok to mount pump brackets with screws? Had they been installed at the factory where would BCB have placed them? option 1 against the starboard side inner wall?

option 2 next to the cranking battery

option 3 next to the trolling batteries just above the bilge and live well pumps

I installed mine at option 2. Option 1 wasn’t an option for me there is a fuel filter mounted there. I will try to get a picture tomorrow night.

Are you going single or double poles?

We prefer lower mounting as it’s more secured and the floor has material inside the corner to improve retention. Set the bases in urethane.

Riccoet did you screw down the brackets in that location or adhesive/urethane only?

In my typical more is better mentality 😁. I screwed them down and was liberal on silicone on the screw threads and under head to seal out water. Wiped off excess squeezed out on top. And also used a small amount of urethane making sure I surrounded the screw holes as a water barrier under the bracket. Now hopefully I don’t have to remove the brackets, lol
