Those should have been drilled sideways, to drain the boxes. The seats on a Bobcat don’t fully contact the seal trim on top (vertical), though it shouldn’t be filling excessively. This can be protected more by creating a secondary cover for the top area if that is an excessive leak.
Mounting on the hinges, foam blocking and lack of tension on the rear back itself effects the seal. The seat bottom should rub against the back itself, more than most feel it should. That keeps the tension downwards resting the bottom underside against the opening seal itself.
