23P Tempest Plus is what Im using now. Only getting 5450 RPMs out of a 94 Merc 150 XRi. Shouldnt I be turning 5600?Last edited by larro 555 on November 8th, 2007, 1:21 am, edited 2 times in total.

5600 rpms is correct! If you went to 22 pitch Tempest that would raise you to 5600. As of right now I dont have one. 150 rpms is not going to gain you that much. I would let it ride! Good luck fishing Gabe Lawson

I would swap the 24P Trophy for another 23P Tempest in like condition to have for a spare if youre interested.

Larro 555,My brother is looking for a 24 Trophy to try on his 86 Caracal. He does have a 23 Tempest Plus he would be willing to swap, his Tempest is a 10 out of a 10. The thing is he needs to try one out to make sure the 24 Trophy is the prop he needs. He is trying to get a hold of a Trophy this weekend to try out. Would you trade for a 23 Trophy? It is a 8.5 out of 10, very small leading edge nicks and one small bend and would need a blow out ring if prefered. I have been told that it will actually run better with out the blow out ring. Maybe we could work something out. ElwoodElwood…..Bass Cat Proud
