Mike – I like it. It is very well built. I did a poor job of chamfering the holes and have had a couple gel cracks develop as a result. I believe they happened when we speared a wave on Toledo.

BearKat,Thats the way I have it setup – but when talking to Hummingbird they recommended it having its own battery…???

Checked the forum on BBC and nothing on the battery. Im inclined to with agree BCB. If that was the case it would be mentioned somewhere in the installation directions, youd think??
