You only need two leads going to the front for 36V. You have those two leads in place now with the 24V motor. You will wire the plug on the Xi5 just like the 24V is wired.At the batteries, if you use the cranking battery as the third battery (I dont recommend this, but quite a few do it) it will wire as follows:Neg of trolling motor to neg of crankingPositive of cranking will jump to TM battery 1 negativepositive of TM battery 1 will jump to TM battery 2 negativiepositive of TM battery 2 to breaker, then to trolling motorHope this helpsBTW, if you dont connect the TM negative to the same terminal the outboard neg is connected to, electrolysis will occur.
