The screws may be loosening some, or the seat pan could settling as areas wear some. Tightening the screws by hand would be fine. Though dont strip them. Take a look at that and let us know what you find. The rubbing in the splashwell is probably something that you will not prefer that answer to, though it is our way. The splashwell we do not cover intentionally. Two of our competitors once put rubber matting in the well and claimed it was to prevent scratching. It does, though it also covers an area that was prone to lots of stress fractures on those other brands. We have chosen to not cover that area as we dont want folks to think we are hiding anything. We have considered placing matting in only the front area of the well and the cabling jackets would ride on that. It could be done by anyone if preferred. We prefer to just buff that area occasionally and repolish it. Just being brutally honest as usual.
