A little fishing history

I just learned this evening that the probably one of the most if not the most important bass baits were invented back in the 1800's in my camp back yard.  I fish Bomoseen occasionally and Champlain all the time which is where camp is located.  I had no clue that the basic spinner bait, buzz bait, weedless spoon, Mepps, and about any bait with a spinner or spoon type design was developed in Vermont back in the late 1800's. Enjoy the article. https://www.onthewater.com/the-buel-spoon?mibextid=Zxz2cZ&fbclid=IwAR1vhKbS8WiLBbEK0eabV08ckRSKOvn7LNZv_eN8IZspmUnHO3fBE3gHrXA
