I have a 2017 Cougar Advantage SP. One of the Power Poles will not go down, so I need to get to the pump. It is way up in front of the gas tank and there is about 3" between the floor and the top of the pump. I can't fit a screwdriver in there to get the top off. I don't know how to get to this pump.
I see the two bolts in the storage compartment but I can’t see the other end of the bolts where it connects to the bracket. I’m afraid that if I unscrew the bolts that the nuts are just going to fall off and disappear. Have you taken the pump off before?
Sharkman, the back of the pump is threaded, there shouldn’t be a bolt, they should be bolted right through the box into the back of the pump.
