That looks great. Good job. I don’t have the pole but I love the step. I use it everytime I exit the boat after loading. I wouldn’t be without it. I’d probably like the pole too.
On a different subject, I would swing your tongue every once in a while and add penetrating lubricant to the pin because if you don’t, it could lock up on you and you will not be able to swing it at all. My previous Classic did this on me and I fought it long and hard before I could swing it and it was always hard to move after that.
