So Ive got a 2002 Sabre and it doesnt have any cup holders. Looking for recommendations on where to mount some. I know I can mount a fold up model on the side of the console but was wondering if theres a decent spot to put the stainless insert style. Im thinking I could actually add one to the front deck by the trolling motor basin but that doesnt help me when running the big motor. Anyone have any ideas?
I would like some ideas also. 2011 FTD. I have the 2 cup holders in the carpeted step. But I need something more fitting for a coffee cup, Gatorade…etc. I have lost 2 high dollar stainless coffee cups while running on plane. The Eyra had 2 places on the front deck step. I could sit my drinks there while running, than move it to the step while idling. Right now I have to put the cup between my legs while running. Not comfortable!
Cajun. My wife uses a 30 oz. Yeti. Its not the best fit in the step. I had thought about modifying it for the deeper stainless cup holders. I think a modification would be easy and be made to look good. Though would it help? Being a high wind area. Unlike the cup holder that are low and out of the wind.2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
Makes you wonder why something like my truck had wouldnt work. It was oversized but had rubber flaps midway down to help hold cups in while 4 wheeling and allowed for variable cup sizes. I know it would be exposed to weather, but heck, some type of material has to be able to hold up…just a thought. I am too broke and too dumb to invent something…lol
Try Tallon, New Zealand company, great cup holders, got 2 in my classic mounted in front of throttle and corresponding position on passenger side. Cups wil stay in driving down road at 75. They lock in place but are removable for cleaning etc.
Tallon definitely has plenty options. To be specific I am looking for something to hold the Yeti, or Starbucks type cups/mugs. They are tall and fit loose in the Center step cup holders. On my Jag and Eyra this wasnt an issue, as there are other cup holder locations near the driver.BCB would the Yarcraft type work for this? I couldnt find a pic of them on the website.
