How does it do all jacked up with big tires?

It does fine with the tires really the milage is no worse than my 06 5.3. It pulls the boat like it isnt even back there. That would be my wife that took the picture. The trailer was at the state park but the boat was back at spadra for a short time today. The day you saw me there i caught around 15 pounds on a frog in just about 30 mins without even trying. Today with a 15 degree difference in water temp and a foot or better difference in water level it didnt take long to figure out that it wasnt gonna work today.

Im thinking about getting 1 also, does it realy tow as good or better then the 5.3 and is the gas milage Ok when towing.Thanks

In my opinion it tows better than the 5.3. Its really smooth and you dont notice the trailer much. I think the milage is pretty good but its gonna be pretty hard to tell with 35s

Thats a really nice truck!!! But, it kind of seems to me with the thing jacked up and those big tires, any fuel mileage advantage of the Ecoboost would be negated maybe.

I know a few people that have purchased the Eco-boost, and say it pulls much better than the 5.4 ever did. The comments were the same….really dont feel the boat behind you. As far as milage, I didnt ask. I dont believe you cant expect much milage from ANY truck with a boat behind you. I got 17mpg towing the boat from Livingston yesterday. F250 6.4 diesel.

I have had mine for almost a year now. Mine is a crew cab 4×4. It pulls my cougar great and I am getting 17.8 mpg in tow.
