Another charger question

I have seen this question before but could not remember the answer.The third bank wants to stay red but when I put my manual digital charger on it,it reads fine,plenty of volts....maybe dissregard the third bank on the onboard charger?The system is a Genius 09 unit on a Sabre.

Is this bank on a trolling, or cranking battery?

Does that battery retain its voltage for some time after you unplug the charger?

Bill,it appears too.I have not been able to launch cause of ice here in VA,so I plug the on board in on the weekends cause its so cold.Usually I can fish in December.I think I am going to just go back to using my chargers cause it seems like these onboards are hit and miss so to speak.
