anyone using gojacks on a tandem trailer?

I have a good friend that puts his boat in a side load garage with them. I swear if you saw where he had to put his boat youd not think it would go. He go jacks it right in with no problems. if I ever have the issue itll be the way I go!

Did it today for the first time. Very easy. Jack it up and push it where you want it. You may have to fight the dolly wheel a little to change direction, and it wants to pivot around the dolly so you push from the back and then push from the front. I slid my boat to the opposite side of the garage and it was just too easy. You can push the tandem trailer into a slant if you jack the wheel way up and work at it, but you have to back the boat in just right first. I used four GoJaks, obviously, but you may be able to do it with two, which is a lot cheaper.

Every time I take my boat out I useem. They are awesome and as you mentioned the pop axle would do the same thing. They work exactly as Sparkler mentioned..my tandem moves just like a single, with just a little more effort. Judd Lasiter

I priced the GoJaks model 5000s locally, $168.00 each plus UPS shipping. I have also found a simular jack at Harbor Freight, item 94682-5VGA, for $129.99 for two. The local Harbor Freight store is currently out of stock but does expect to receive a new shipment soon. I want to check these out because one, they are less cost and two, they are hydraulic activated with a foot pedal. During the fishing season the space I keep my boat is a straight shot in/out but when Winter comes the warehouse fills up with over 14 bass boats and turning a tandom is tough when space is limited. This does look like a great solution. Curt
