Back up issues on Trailers

For those of you who have trouble backing up your trailers, here is a suggestion. When in a tight spot and needing to back up, it is furstrating. So turn on your parking lights,take your vehicle plug, turn it sidways and plug the brown wire post crossways into the blue reverse wire pin on the trailer plug jack. This will activate the solenoid using the parking lights for power. Once your are backed out, flip it back to normal. It works in a desperate situation. BCB

OK, I realize that you folks are good but when did you develop the ability to respond to issues before they are brought up???

I just had an issue Sunday having trouble backing up with the trailer turned sharply and was going to ask you about this issue.

I will give this a try but what causes this problem?

Sounds like one side may be grabbing and not releasing on the brakes.
