Looking at getting a good winter suite dint no with one the 100mph suite is just $$$$$$ and have hard good things about it does anyone have the bass cat suite if so how well does it work
Cabelas guide wear! I have the bcb( great jacket, bibbs not winter bibbs IMO ), I mix the jacket( bcb) with the cabelas bibbs. My cabelas guide wear is 5 year old an has never leaked. Good in cold also.
I have the 100 MPH suit and I am not impressed with it at all,…..I bought my wife a Cabelas Guidewear set last fall when they were on sale….It is 10 times a better rainsuit than my 100 MPH gear…and it was half the price on sale…
It all depends on your area and temperature use. Cabelas are heavy and the BCB model is a mild temperature use gear. Bass Pro 100 MPH was once a great suit though newer ones seem lacking. The SIMMs are very good suits and are mild temperature suits also. BCB is continuing to work on the rain suits and while this is an affordable and nice option we would like to increase our quality without really impacting costs as much.
Second the cabelas guidewear. For here in Arkansas I really like these from winter into April. After that better have something else that is not as heavy.
