Long drive from GVille to BHam, but I guess its no worse than Grand Lake to Tulsa.

Seems like a lot of stress to put on those fish to drive from G down to Bham for weigh in. Will they drive them back to G for release or release them in another lake? Seems like a high mortality rate is inevitable…what do you guys think?Being a Huntsville resident, would certainly have loved to see them use the Von Braun Center for weigh in which is a shorter drive.

I believe they do drive them back. Gonna be some big fish/sacks weighed in, hope the distance doesnt kill fish…

I know fish stress is a killer but the water temp should be cool which will help keep them calm and you know they will treat the water and keep recirculators going. Surely some fish will die, but I dont think the number will be all that high especially compared to a summer tournament. Pretty sure Alabama Game and Fish law prohibits movement of fish from one lake to another. So yes all fish will be returned to Guntersville.

Its all about dollors, so Bham was chosen over Huntsville. IMHO.
