Yes you do need to iron it,but place a towel over the decal and dont set the iron on high.I think I had mine on cotton setting

Does the iron on decal cover the logo which is cut in the carpet and very faded?

YOU CAN COLOR YOUR LOGO WITH A MARKER IT WORKS WELL DID MINE LOOKS GREAT SO FARE.

What type of marker do you recommend for coloring the Basscat logo? A Sharpie or a Magic marker? Mine has faded badly even though I keep my boat in a storage building at all times unless I am fishing.Thanks,TD2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

A Sanford Sharpie and the large aluminum body ones from the Office Supply store will do an excellent job and reasonably quick.
