Batteries

Just wondering what are the favorite battery choices both cranking and trolling motor. Not interested in lithium as of yet.

I purchased a x2 gel from batteries plus. It is pricey, around $400 but it has a 4 year non pro rated warranty, and it’s 1150 CCA (cold cranking amps) and has a reserve of 220 minutes. It is pretty strong and spins my 250 Opti with ease along with powering all my graphs, etc. It is a dual purpose battery.

It is time for me to replace 1 cranking battery and 2 trolling motor batteries. I like the x2 battery. It being a dual purpose battery, do you use them for both applications?

Glen, I currently use it for my starting battery only, however there are others on this site that use it for both applications.
