Not to dispute Mr. Whitten as Trojan is a good battery in comparison to the Never Starts and others. Though, we actually killed two SCS 225, and also the 200 Series Trojans in our testing here. Though we killed a lot of batteries in various brands the past couple of years. They are good batteries in comparison and should do a fine job for most. The larger the better and we set on Exide XMA 31 series AGM style as being the better of our test. You can buy comparable batteries and we have a list on the FAQ section of similar batts. Though whatever you get, quality returns on batteries. We all get tired opf replacing the lawn mower, four wheeler, motorcycle and etc batteries on our toys. They have little option except to build lesser quality for price points, when if we would all just belly up and buy a better battery the life of those would more than pay itself, and the cost would diminish in comparison from higher volumes. Though we are all just a little stringent and save a nickel to spend a dollar sooner. Trolling and Cranking batteries are no different.
