Battery charger???

I have a Guest model 2623 on board battery charger on my 98 Jaguar. The water in the TM batteries only, seems to evaporate in less than a week. Is there anyway to check if it overcharging or not shutting off when it has reached full charge? Also, I notice that BC does not show that they carry “Guest” anymore but, has “CUL M RITE Pro Pak III” instead. Any feed back on this charger? Thank you!!!

The 2623 Guest is an excellent unit and we no longer carry Guest Chargers. BCB

The Pro-Pak is also a good unit, and the company is equally great to deal with if there are problems. IMHO, D.

You dont say how old the batteries are, but if more than 2 years or so, water loss is a symptom of aging batteries as the charger has to work longer and harder to put a charge on them! C.

Batteries are both less than 3 months old!

If you leave it plugged in all the time try unplugging it when they get charged then freshen them up the nite before. Sounds like you might be leaving it plugged in 24/7 and it is charging when you are leaving it plugged in…just a guess though. Good luck, no it shouldnt be boiling off that quick. Judd Lasiter
