Battery Charger Question

anybody know what systems IKE and CREWS use and do they have BCB install a charger that runs off the outboard while running?

I had problems with the pro sport chargers also. They were alwarys good to work and honored their product. They will stand behind their product. Give them a call.

no. your charger is a 12 volt charger and your plug has 24 or 36 volts at the plug.

Thanks Phil, So the charger has to be atleast 24v. 24v chargers rigged like that must be hard to find. Can you make one out of a 2 bank charger

Check you battery voltage first, then determine if theres a charging issue.

Thanks BCB, will check batteries in the morning with a multi meter. Just seemed strange cause it aways would take a while to go to green. Ed

Are you running four batteries or three ?If three, then the starting battery was charged by the engine while running, thus the increased charge and reduced rate, if four then check connection and voltage in the batteries as BCB mentioned. I know, I asked a stupid question,,,,,,,,

It is a 4 battery system. Testeted the bateries with a multi meter, all 3 showed 13.5 volts after being charged over nite. Fished today and the tm seemed to work fine. Would I notice a big difference in tm performance if i had a bad or not charged battery? Thanks Ed
