Batteries are rather hard to access on the Bay Cat and it is a design that was two years in the making, with introduction in 2003. The bay boat market is accustomed to designs having time on them and we dont think this one is set for redesign in the near future. It is still in production and some folks have left out one baitwell for access purposes.

Also you can add a drain to the center storage box on the front deck. This compartment condensates terrible and it has no where to go.

Believe 15 was last year for that hull. It might even be 14 but last I heard from Rick himself they were being shelved for now.

They retained the molds inside storage and have sidelined it for the future. They did build a few in 2016, though in 2017 it is not a plan to move forward. The requirements for parts purchases are too high in todays world for the volumes.
