BCB lynx w/merc 4s prop/speed

Hey all

I’m picking up a 2021 lynx with the Mercury 250 pro xs 4s. It has 2 blades, lithium’s, and all rigged with garmins. I’m trying to get a feel for what props I should have on hand to try out. It currently has a 23p fury 3 on it that the guy is happy with. I have a worked 25 and 26p tempest plus on hand. What props and speed is everyone getting? Thanks much

Stay with the 23 Fury till you get a feel for everything. The four stroke won’t turn those Tempest props without lots of slippage.

Is there another prop I should have as my spare? Maybe a 24? Or a 4 blade of some sort. I don’t like not having a useable spare

I have a 24p fury 3 and a 24p fury 4 for my 2019. I have talons and agms. I have hit 78.8 at sea level on the ca delta at about 6050 rpms with the 3 blade. The 4 I can get 73 out of but much better mid range handling. I would be interested in your numbers with a 23p.

I won’t be picking the boat up till later this year. But I know that it is loaded very very heavy in the bow and very light in the stern. Also I think it’s currently set up more for holeshot than speed. Although he has said IT will do 75 loaded.
