1991 Sabre that still gets “Nice Boat” comments at the ramp. Got one yesterday at Crystal Cove in Palatka, FL. This was Ron Pierces personal boat in April 1991 and I bought it from him the same year. I fished the 2006 Bass Cat Tournament in 2006 for the first time, (112th) and the Bass Cat factory did a great job for me replacing hoses, pumps, charger, windshield and etc. I had the motor rebuilt by Miller Marine in Ocala in 2003 and had the trailer re-powder coated at the same time. I would like to have a new Pantera, but this boat refuses to break. I tell my wife and financial secretary that it would be better to trade while it runs good, but what do wives know? Someday I will trade, but till then, I guess I should be happy with “Nice Boat” remarks and take it fishing every once in a while. Skipjack68
Hey skipjack, What kind of CC do you have under that shed?
Man, I love that boat of Nela Cougars. That Blue pins and Silver are just great. They really make the red pop. I am about to order a P4 and just may have to copy your colors. 😉
ovbonner, Thanks for the complement!!!!!!!!! Glynn
HI Bama, The boat is a 27 Contender Center Console. It is a 2000 model that I bought the year we retired from business, 43 years. It has twin Yamaha 200s, radar, good electronics and is a great off shore boat. I have not used it much lately, as I have some back problems, but my grandson Reid has become an excellent Captain and he takes it out when he can. He keeps the boat waxed and ready to go. Right now he has all he can do to keep up with his final year of engineering school. Reid had it out recently. He went out about 60 miles in the Gulf and had a limit of Grouper, Gag and Red, and some other fish. He had three adults with him and they were impressed with his ability to put them on fish. Of course, now days fishing the Gulf gets expensive. Diesel to pull the boat at over $4.00 a gallon, and using about 90 gals of gas in the boat all adds up to an over $400 trip. The boat does a good job, cruise at 40 MPH and will run 54 WOT. Skipjack

Eyra96, Great colors! That boat looks brand new!
What is the exact color combination if you dont mind. What color was it suppose to be – cause it is sure sharp.
I have the color combo at home. I will post it tomorrow. The main difference is where this one is carmon red the other was supposed to be fire red. The mix up was totally all mine though. I did how ever fall in love this color from the minute I saw it. The sun changes this boats whole appearance.
OK BCB, were all posting pictures of our babies. You have had to have some favorites over the years. Maybe some wild colors? Maybe some new colors coming? Share with us please!
Thats a 98 Eyra. soooo hot!
BCB – dont you have to pin this thread with all these gorgeous boats? What could possibly makes a person want a Cat more than these nice looking rigs?? You all keep them coming. How will a person ever decide on a boat color with all these great choices?? I guess its a nice problem to have!
We receive compliments ALL the time on our boat – even from other BCB owners! Its on the Owners Gallery and I believe the pics will expand. Gary & Joyce Hicks — FORGOT TO TELL YA – Were on the “Cougar” section! …and YES the sun really brightens this color – pics dont do it justice for sure!!!Last edited by TxBassCat08 on April 9th, 2008, 9:43 pm, edited 1 time in total.
