Best product to treat Aurora Covet

1. Looking for advice on the best product to re treat an Aurora Cover after cleaning.

Following.  On my last Aurora cover that was canvas, I used Scotch Guard.  But the new one is more a vinyl material and it leaks.  I put a plastic tarp over the cover when stored any length of time.

A lot use 303 Fabric Guard after a good cleaning. When I have to do mine, it is what I will use

How do you know which is which.  Bought used boat that came with cover.  Does it say on cover someplace?

The newer Aqualon cover has a vinyl like outer coating. The Sunbrella is more like canvas material on the outside with a soft touch material inside. I do not know the third type mentioned, but they are made by Aurora. I know from other brand covers I owned that after treating them with a water repellent they would shrink. That was not a good thing when a cover is tight to fit!
