Bilge transducer factory epoxy

Need to knock an old transducer off of the bottom of the bilge. Original epoxy looks/feels like it may have been one of those putty-types. Anyone know exactly what they use at the factory?

I could not get mine to come loose. For fear of bottom damage I just cut the cable on the old and installed new one right beside the old one.
